Background
Indian fish fry is made in many different ways in India. This is just one of the many methods to make it - easy and simple. It's a lovely snack or can be part of an Indian meal.
Ingredients
- 1 medium whole, gutted fish - any kind, cut into chunks
- Marinade:
- 1 Tbsp ginger-garlic paste
- 2 tsp chilli powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 lemon
- oil
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients for the marinade and make a smooth paste.
- Apply the marinade to the fish pieces.
- Marinate for a couple of hours.
- Shallow fry in a pan.
- Serve hot.
