Bread Machine White Loaf

I use this simple Bread Machine White Loaf recipe at least once a week because my daughter absolutely loves it - actually, so do I! It takes only a couple of minutes to prepare then you can just let your bread machine do its miraculous job to create this delicious loaf. If yours has a timer it's even better because you can set it to call you to breakfast with the wonderful aroma of fresh-baked bread.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tsp Dried Yeast
  • 500 g Strong White Flour Canadian is great
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 45 ml Olive Oil 3 Tbsps
  • 310 ml Warm water

Method
 

  1. Unless your bread machine manual suggests otherwise: Put the ingredients into the baking pan in the above order
  2. Select the "Italian" function (or equivalent) which takes about 4½ hours
  3. If you want it warm for e.g. breakfast set the timer (if available) appropriately.
  4. Use oven gloves to remove the pan and tip onto a cooling for a few minutes before slicing.
