Add the Initial Ingredients to your breadmaker pan in the order listed above, unless your machine’s manual recommends a different sequence.
Choose the brioche setting if your breadmaker includes one.
If it does, the machine will usually beep to indicate when to add the additional ingredients.
If your machine does not have a brioche cycle, select the basic bread setting instead.
Add the Additional Ingredients approximately 60 minutes after starting (about 10 minutes before the end of the first kneading cycle) if using a basic setting.
Once the cycle is complete, allow the panettone to cool slightly inside the pan.
Carefully transfer it to a wire rack and let it cool completely before slicing and serving.
