Using an electric or hand-held mixer, whisk the ingredients together in a large bowl then rest for 10 minutes.
Heat your waffle maker. Once it’s hot, spoon in the batter, spreading it out evenly, then seal. Following the machine’s instructions cook it for 3-5 minutes, depending on your waffle maker. The waffle should be golden and crispy on the outside.
Transfer the waffle to a plate, then make about 3 more waffles from the remaining batter (this depends on the size of your waffle maker).
Serve them with elderflower syrup drizzled on top.
