Cut the halloumi into 6 slices, each about 1 cm thick. If needed, gently widen the lower part of each slice where the cheese naturally splits — this helps create the ghost-like shape.
Add a small drizzle of olive oil to a non-stick frying pan and heat over medium-high.
Fry the halloumi slices for 2–3 minutes per side, or until they turn light golden brown and slightly crispy.
Transfer the fried halloumi slices to a plate and let them cool slightly.
Use the balsamic glaze to draw small eyes (and even a mouth, if you like) to turn your halloumi into little ghosts.
