Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Unroll the pastry on a large chopping board.
Using a circle cookie cutter or a glass, stamp out rounds. Put them on a baking tray, lined with parchment paper.
Using your fingers, press down into the pastry to create two eye shapes, but don’t push through the pastry.
Using straws, make two small holes through the pastry to create the nostrils.
Drop some jam into the eye area.
Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes, then let them cool in the tray.
When they are cooled, use the chocolate décor pen to draw a long, curved smile near the bottom of the cookies, then draw small lines across it.
Fill the holes of the nostrils with chocolate or jam - or leave them empty.
