Background

This hot chocolate is for adults only! It's gorgeous on cold nights, during the winter holiday season or on Valentine's day?

Ingredients

400 ml milk
1 Tbsp cocoa powder
2 Tbsp unrefined cane sugar
1 pinch of salt
Half cinnamon stick
30g dark chocolate chunks (good quality)
Almond or orange liqueur to taste

Instructions

In a saucepan mix the milk, cocoa powder, salt, sugar and salt. Add the cinnamon and gently bring to simmer.
Add the chocolate bits and stir until they melt.
Discard the cinnamon stick.
Pour the hot chocolate into two mugs, add a tablespoon or so of your chosen liqueur .
