Background

When I make gluten-free bread I prefer using Dove’s Gluten-free white bread flour because the result is light and the texture is near to the wheat-based bread. There is a recipe (see here) on the packet which is easy to follow if you want to bake it in the oven. Ingredients

2 egg whites
2 Tbsps olive oil
1 tsp vinegar
400 ml lukewarm water
500g of white gluten-free flour
2¼ teaspoons dried quick yeast
1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

Mix the egg whites, sugar, salt, oil, vinegar in a bowl.
Put the mixture, then the water into your bread maker.
Add the flour, yeast and salt.
If your machine has a gluten-free setting then use that, otherwise choose the quick or easy-bake setting.
When the cycle is complete, remove the loaf from the machine onto a wire-rack and let it cool before slicing.
