Preheat the oven to 190°C.
Measure out the sugar, reserve 1 tablespoon. Put the rest and the berries into a saucepan, then cook on low heat for about 5 minutes.
Transfer the berries to a baking dish, sprinkle with cinnamon.
Sift the flour into a mixing bowl, add the butter. Using your fingertips, rub the flour and butter together to make a light breadcrumb texture. Add the reserved sugar and mix thoroughly.
Mix the eggs with the milk, add the crumble to it and knead it into a dough .
Form 16 dumplings from the dough - drop these on top of the fruits. Sprinkle with the extra sugar .
Bake for about 30 minutes or until the cobbler turns golden brown.
Serve warm with cream, custard or vanilla ice cream - or Greek yoghurt.
