Crispy kale
Crispy kaleis a more healthy snack than crisps – you can serve it at parties, picnics, as an appetizer and so on. You can easily add your favorite flavouring too! If you like Chinese crispy seaweed, do try this recipe. It tastes very similar but is made of curly kale and baked in the oven rather than deep-fried.

- Preheat the oven to 190°C. Line a large baking tray with baking paper.
- Rinse the kale and dry thoroughly. In a large bowl mix it with the oil, salt and sesame seeds.
- Scatter the kale on the baking tray, spread out evenly. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon sugar, then put in the oven for 7 minutes.
- Shake and turn the leaves around, then sprinkle with the remaining sugar .
- Bake for another 5-7 minutes or so, until crispy.
- Serve at room temperature.
