Mackerel and curd cheese pate
Curd cheese spread (Körözött) is a very popular sandwich spread in Hungary. I also like mackerel paté so I’ve decided to combine the two and came up with this rather yummy recipe. I use it as a spread on a piece of toast for the kids to snack on or as a dip with bread-sticks, pita and raw veggie crudités. You can get curd cheese from Polish and other Eastern-European food stores.
