Easy BBQ Sirloin Steak

Last weekend we had another BBQ. I had a particularly nicely matured sirloin steak and wanted a marinade that would enhance the flavour without overpowering it. My recent Easy BBQ Beef Steakmarinade was very successful & tasty so I almost went for it but then decided to create this Easy BBQ Sirloin Steak marinade properly to do justice to this lovely cut of beef.

Ingredients Method

Ingredients

1 large sirloin steak
For the marinade:
2 Tbsps light soy sauce
2 Tbsps olive oil
2 Tbsps Worcester sauce
2 Tbsps balsamic vinegar
1 tsp Dijon mustard
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
seasoning to taste

Method

Mix the marinade ingredients together in a bowl then put them into a medium plastic freezer bag (or similar).
Put the steaks in the bag and massage the marinade into it.
Leave the bag in the fridge as long as you can – preferably a couple of hours.
Cook to your liking on the BBQ.
