Asian pork and prawn balls
These Asian pork and prawn balls are very popular in the South-East of Asia, served in broth or with stir-fried vegetables. This simple, non-spicy version is best served with a dip, so it’s perfect for parties or as an appetizer, or just as a snack for your lunch-box or a picnic.

Method
- In a food processor, blend the egg white, garlic, ginger, sesame oil and coriander.
- Add the minced pork, then season with salt and pepper. Form small (2-3cm ) balls and cook them in plenty of hot oil in a wok or deep pan until golden.
- Drain them on paper towels.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with chopped herbs scattered on top.
