Bread Machine White Loaf
Background
I use this simple Bread Machine White Loaf recipe at least once a week because my daughter absolutely loves it - actually, so do I! It takes only a couple of minutes to prepare then you can just let your bread machine do its miraculous job to create this delicious loaf. If yours has a timer it's even better because you can set it to call you to breakfast with the wonderful aroma of fresh-baked bread.
Ingredients
- 1tsp Dried Yeast
- 500g Strong White Flour (Canadian is great)
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 45 ml Olive Oil (3 Tbsps)
- 310 ml Warm water
Instructions
- Unless your bread machine manual suggests otherwise:
- Put the ingredients into the baking pan in the above order
- Select the "Italian" function (or equivalent) which takes about 4½ hours
- If you want it warm for e.g. breakfast set the timer (if available) appropriately.
- Use oven gloves to remove the pan and tip onto a cooling for a few minutes before slicing.
