Moroccan spiced lamb steaks
These Moroccan spiced lamb steaks are perfect all year round – at Summer BBQ parties, at Easter gettogethers or for laid-back family meals. Serve it with couscous or pilaf – I served it with wheatberry salad and baked sweet potatoes. You can spice them up by adding a pinch of cayenne or chili powder/flakes to the spice mixture.
Ingredients
Method
- Mix the spices in a bowl then rub the steaks with it.
- Mix the oil and lemon juice and drizzle over the steaks. Massage them well, then out them in a glass dish and chill for at least a couple of hours, preferably overnight.
- Heat your BBQ, grill or griddle pan.
- Season the steaks with salt and pepper then fry/grill them for 3-5 minutes on each side, turning them a couple of times.
- When the steaks are cooked to your liking, transfer them to a plate and rest for a couple of minutes before serving with your chosen side dishes.
