Spider sausage rolls

Every year I makemummy sausage rollsfor Halloween  –  but this year we didn’t have much pastry left so I created these spider sausage rolls instead. They are just as easy to make – and you can use dairy-free or vegan sausages and gluten-free pastry too.

Ingredients

  • Ready rolled puff pastry
  • Frankfurters pork, chicken or vegan
  • Pimiento stuffed Olives
  • Egg lightly beaten (or plant-based milk)

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C.
  2. Cut the frankfurters in half lengthwise, then cut them in half again to make 4 long slices.
