Hoisin pork and vegetables stir-fry
This hoisin pork and vegetables stir-fry is a crowd-pleasing dish, perfect for parties and large family meals, particularly during the Chinese New Year festivities. Serve it as apart of a menu or with just steamed rice.

- Mix the marinade then add the pork. Marinate for minimum an hour – overnight, if you can.
- Cut the red pepper into thin strips, the corn and beans into small pieces.
- Finely slice the onion, garlic and chilli (if used).
- Heat the oil in the wok. When hot, add the pork (keep back the marinade) and stir-fry them for about 3-5 minutes, then transfer them to a plate.
- Add more oil, then stir-fry the onion and red pepper for 2 minutes, then add the garlic, corn, chilli and green beans.
- Stir-fry for another 3 minutes, then add the marinade and cook for a couple of minutes or until the veggies are tender. Add the pork and cook for another minutes or so.
- Serve with sesame seeds and coriander leaves scattered on top.
