Dairy-free tiramisu
This dairy-free tiramisu can be enjoyed by those who suffer from dairy allergy or intolerance. Also, if you make it with vegan ladyfingers, the dish becomes vegan. Gluten-free ladyfingers can be used too. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, Christmas, anniversaries, dinner parties and so on.
Ingredients
Method
- Whisk the plant-based cream, “cream cheese”, 2 Tbsp Amaretto, vanilla and sugar/Stevia until you get a thick, smooth cream.
- Pour the coffee into a shallow dish. Add the Amaretto, then dip in the lady fingers, each at a time, for a couple of seconds, then turn them over to soak on the other side. Make sure they are not soggy. Put them tightly next to each other in a deep serving dish, then spread half of the cream mixture on top.
- Repeat the layering once more, then cover the dish and put it in the fridge.
- Chill for a couple of hours (or overnight).
- Just before serving, dust some cocoa powder on the top, enough to cover the cream well.
