Background

Grilled figs with honey and almonds, served with a dash of yoghurt, is a very satisfying dessert! It's ready within 10 minutes, so it's perfect for laid-back dinner parties or lazy family Sunday lunches.

Ingredients

4 figs
1 knob of butter
2 Tbsp runny honey
1 small handful of almonds
½ tsp ground cinnamon
To serve: natural Greek yogurt or mascarpone

Instructions

Cut each fig into 4 wedges and arrange them in a oven-proof dish.
Drizzle them with the honey, sprinkle with cinnamon and crumble the butter over.
Roughly chop the almonds and sprinkle on top of the figs.
Grill for 5 minutes until soft, being careful not to burn the almonds.
Serve warm with some yoghurt or mascarpone.
