Tiramisu graveyard
This Tiramisu graveyard is perfect for a Halloween party. You can make it in a large dish or smaller, individual dishes. It has alcohol – so keep it away from children!
Ingredients
Method
- Make the coffee and let it cool.
- Whisk the double cream, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl until creamy and fluffy. Add the mascarpone and whisk again for a few seconds. You should get a thick, but airy cream.
- Pour the coffee into a shallow dish, then dip the sponge fingers in it, one at a time, turning them for a few seconds. They should not become soggy!
- Layer these in two small or one large glass dish. Spread evenly half of the creamy mixture on top.
- Repeat the sponge fingers and cream layering. Cover the dish, then refrigerate for a couple of hours.
- When you’re ready to serve, snap a couple of sponge fingers in half. Write RIP on them or draw a cross with icing pen. Set aside – these will be the gravestones.
- Dust the tiramisu with cocoa powder.
- Snap the Matchmake sticks into different sizes and push these into the dish, around the tiramisu to create a fence.
- Push the decorated “gravestones” into the tiramisu, then push a couple snakes sweets into the cocoa topping.
- Make some dark chocolate into rough crumbles. Scatter these at around the snakes and gravestones to create a soil effect.
- Serve and enjoy!
