Pork and apple burger
Pork and apple is a classic combination, so it’s no wonder that this burger tastes great! Perfect for summer parties, barbecues or for a midweek family supper. Serve it with the usual condiments or chips and/or a salad.
Ingredients
Method
- Chop the apple into tiny cubes (do not peel it) then mix it together with the minced pork in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Make four balls out of the mixture and press these slightly between your palms.
- Heat the barbecue to medium temperature or oil a griddle pan. Spray the patties with some oil then cook them for about 10 minutes on each side until charred and cooked through.
- Meanwhile, cut the rolls in half, then grill, toast or barbecue them. Serve the putties sandwiched in the rolls with condiments of your choice.
