Barbecued asparagus with feta

Background
This barbecued asparagus with feta is a perfect side dish for BBQ parties, Sunday lunch or it can be eaten as a vegetarian/healthy main course with wholesome bread, quinoa, rice etc. It's ready in just 10 minutes and the feta dressing can be prepared in advance.
Ingredients
- 1 pack green asparagus (about 250-300g)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- 50g feta
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 handful of fresh mint leaves, chopped
- Grated zest and juice of half lemon
- Mint leaves to garnish
Instructions
- Crumble the feta into a bowl, add mint and the lemon zest & juice.
- Dry-fry the cumin seeds, when cooled, add the feta .
- Heat the barbecue or griddle pan.
- Snap off the woody ends of the asparagus.
- Pour the oil into a little bowl, mix in the crushed garlic.
- Rub each asparagus stalk with your garlic oil.
- Cook for 4-5 minutes until slightly charred, turning regularly.
- Arrange the asparagus on a serving plate and scatter the feta mixture over it. Season to taste and garnish with a few mint leaves.
