Background
Here's a great cheat day-food for all you health freaks! Chicken poppers are really easy to make and the Indian twist to this recipe makes it all the more delicious. My kid loves it.
Ingredients
- 200 gms boneless Chicken cut into strips
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 2 Tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1 Egg
- Bread crumbs as needed
- Oil for shallow frying
Instructions
- Cut chicken into thin strips and marinate it with some chilli powder, salt, ginger garlic paste and coriander leaves for 15 mins.
- Beat one egg in a shallow bowl.Take breadcrumbs in another bowl.
- Take each chicken strip and dip it in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. Make sure to coat the piece well.
- In a pan, heat oil for frying. Fry these nuggets till golden on both sides.
- Put them on a Kitchen towel to remove any excess oil. Serve hot with ketchup.
