Indo Chinese Chilli Paneer

Background
Paneer is fresh cheese common in India. It is made by curdling heated milk by food acids like lime, vinegar, etc. Paneer combined with different vegetables and spices gives a very palatable taste. Chilli paneer is one of my favourite dishes.
Ingredients
- 250g Paneer cubed
- 1 Green bell pepper (Chopped roughly)
- 1 Onion (Chopped roughly)
- 1 Egg
- 2 Green chillies (chopped)
- ½ tsp Coriander powder
- 1½ Tbsp Corn flour
- ½ tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Garlic pod (Chopped)
- ½ Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp Lime juice
- 1 Tbsp Plain flour
- Oil for deep frying
- 1 tsp Soya sauce
- 1 tsp Chilli garlic sauce
- Water as needed
- 2 tsp Oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, add salt, ginger garlic paste, 2 Tbsp of water, cornflour and plain flour and mix well.
- Coat this mixture to the cubed paneer pieces.
- Heat oil and fry the coated paneer pieces on low flame.
- In a separate pan, heat 2 tsp of oil and add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
- Add chopped garlic, green chillies, onion, coriander powder and 2 tsp of water.
- Then add, chilli garlic sauce, green bell pepper, salt, lime, and soya sauce and mix well until the bell pepper is cooked and crunchy.
Tips
