Background
This recipe is easy to make and very suitable for dinner parties. In this recipe the chicken is marinated in spices for a couple of hours and cooked in oil until soft. It has a fantastic flavour provided by the spices. Neat and simple!
Ingredients
- 1½ Kg Chicken (Cut into pieces)
- 1½ Tbsp Oil
- 2 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1½ cup Yogurt (Beaten)
- 1 cup Cashew paste
- 2" Cinnamon sticks
- 1 Tbsp Red chilli powder (Or according to taste)
- ¼ tsp Turmeric
- Salt to taste
- 2 Tbsp Fried onions
- 2 Tbsp Vinegar
- 5 Green chillies (Or according to taste)
- 2 Bunches mint (Chopped)
- 1 Bunch Coriander (Chopped)
Instructions
- Grind together mint, coriander and green chillies together and make a smooth paste.
- Marinate the chicken with the above paste and all the ingredients mentioned except oil for 2 hours.
- In a pan, heat oil and add the marinated chicken and fry it on high flame until the chicken is cooked and soft.
- Serve hot.
