Easy BBQ Beef Steak
Background
You can tell when Summer has properly arrived when the mouth-watering smell of barbecues starts to pervade the air. If you need a reliable recipe that you can use for parties, family meals or for Fathers' Day, do try this delicious yet quick and easy BBQ Beef Steak. It goes particularly well with coleslaw and a new potato salad! You can use matureΒ thick sirloin or thinner minute steaks - the marinating time should depend the quality and tenderness of the beef.
Ingredients
- 2 matured beef steaks
- Marinade: 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
- Β½ tsp garlic powder
- Β½ tsp ground pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ΒΌ tsp hot pepper sauce (e.g. chipotle, tabasco etc)
Instructions
- Mix together the marinade ingredients in a bowl.
- Add the steaks and cover them all over with the sauce.
- Leave to marinate at room temperature for about an hour or overnight in the fridge if using tougher, non-matured steak.
- Cook to taste on the BBQ.
