Background
A Halloween party doesn’t have to have only unhealthy food. Check out these cute kiwi frogs – they are vegan and gluten-free too!
Ingredients
- Kiwis, peeled
- Strawberries, sliced
- Mini marshmallows
- Currants
Instructions
- Cut a peeled kiwi into thick slices (horizontally) and remove the curved top and bottom slices.
- On a serving plate, stack the slices on top of each other (not too neatly) to create the body. Put a slice of strawberry between the top two slices of kiwi - this will be the tongue.
- Make two small insertions with a knife on the top slice. Push the currants into them, then put marshmallows behind them you can stick them with melted chocolate or honey, golden syrup etc if preferred).
- Put the plate onto the Halloween buffet table, then make more. Enjoy!
