Background
This crunchy mixed berries & nuts salad is perfect for breakfast or brunch - I have it almost every day! It's super healthy and you can use any combination of berries and nuts that you fancy, but do try to have at least three different fruits. Also, I normally add almonds, pumpkin and sunflower seeds. Sometimes I mix in a spoonful of dried cranberries or cherries too.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mixed berries (blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, strawberries, red grapes etc)
- 2 Tbsp Greek yoghurt
- 1 tsp honey or agave syrup (optional)
- 2 Tbsp mixed nuts and seeds
- 1 Tbsp dried berries (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse and drain the berries and, in case of strawberries, cut them into chunks.
- Put them in a serving bowl, add the nuts and seeds. Add the yoghurt then drizzle the honey on top. Mix well.
