Background
These fantastic wafers have only one ingredient - Parmesan cheese, which is baked in the oven for a couple of minutes to become crispy and really tasty. Parmesan Crisps are perfect party nibbles with wine or can be used as garnishing Β for soups and salads.
Ingredients
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 180Β°C.
- Add dollops of Parmesan onto a non-stick or parchment-lined baking sheet, spacing them about a Β½ inch ( 2cm) apart, then lightly pat them down,
- Bake for 3 to 5 minutes or until light golden. In fact, if you've an oven with a glass door, watch them melt and bubble, it's brill! But don't allow them to get too brown because they'll taste bitter!
- Let them cool in the tray for about a minute then, using a palette knife, move them to a plate.
Tips
You can sprinkle herbs, ground pepper, chilli flakes, seeds, various ground spices on top of the dollops before baking. Just experiment with various flavours you like!© 2024 Copyright CookTogether
