These pesto and Parmesan puff twirls are super-easy to make using ready-rolled puff pastry. They're perfect for parties, picnics or just as snacks.
Ingredients
- 1 pack ready rolled puff pastry
- 2 Tbsp pesto (green or red)
- 50g finely grated parmesan
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 200Β°C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Unroll the pastry sheet and glaze with the pesto. Scatter most of the cheese over.
- Cut the pastry into long 1cm wide strips.
- Pick up a strip with both hands, then twist the ends in opposite directions. Place the twirls onto the baking sheet and press both ends down to the sheet to keep their shape.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden.
- Remove the tray from the oven and scatter over the remaining Parmesan to melt onto the twirls. Let them cool.
