Prawns in sorrel leaves

Background
Sorrel leaves are rich in antioxidants, iron, vitamins and folic acid. They are rather sour but, with the combination of proper spices, have a very distinctive and delicious taste. This recipe forΒ prawnsΒ in sorrel leaves is a good example of howΒ palatable and tasty they can be.
Ingredients
- 250g Cooked prawns
- 3 Big bunches of sorrel leaves (Washed, blanched and puréed)
- 5 Green chillies
- 1 Onion chopped
- 6-7 Garlic pods crushed
- 1 tsp Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- A sprig of curry leaves
- 1 Tbsp Oil
- Salt to taste
- 1 Dry red chilli
Instructions
- In a deep bottomed pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add curry leaves, dry red chilli and curry leaves.
- Add the chopped onion and fry until brown.
- Add the green chillies and garlic pods and fry for a couple of minutes.
- Add the ground sorrel leaves and the prawns and mix and fry for 5 minutes.
