Background
This salmon and horseradish patΓ© can be made under five minutes. It's a perfect sandwich filler or dip for snacks & nibbles at picnics and parties.
Ingredients
- 1 small tin of salmon in brine (about 220g)
- 100g cream cheese
- 1Tbsp grated onion
- 1tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 handful of herbs (see Tips )
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Drain the salmon, remove the skin.
- Put everything into a small food processor, blend to a textured paste.
- Season to taste.
- Chill.
Tips
- Parsley, chives, coriander or basil go very well with this recipe - use one or more of them.
- Try making the paté with freshly grated horseradish, it will taste be even more zesty!
