Background

If you're having a BBQ or party and you want to serve some easy but delicious something side dishes - this sesame grilled baby courgette will tick all the boxes! It's fantastically easy to make yet it's really tasty!

Ingredients

12 baby courgettes
4 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp mustard (grainy)
1 Tbsp honey
Grated zest and juice of 1 lemon
2 Tbsp sesame seeds
½ tsp ground cumin

Instructions

Pre-soak: some wooden skewers.
Cut the courgettes in half lengthwise. Push two skewers through about 6-8 courgette halves, creating rafts.
Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl, then brush the rafts with this glaze. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Barbecue, grill or griddle the courgette skewers for 3-5 minutes on each side.
