Asian pork & prawn balls

Background
Pork & prawn balls are very popular in South-East Asia, served in broth or with stir-fried vegetables. This simple, non-spicy version is best served with a dip, so it's perfect for parties or as an appetizer, or just as a snack for your lunch-box or a picnic.
Ingredients
- 100g raw large prawns (peeled)
- 100g minced meat (pork)
- 1 egg white
- 1 garlic, minced
- 1 tsp chopped coriander
- 1 Tbsp grated ginger
- 3 drops of sesame oil
- Oil , salt and pepper
- For Serving: coriander, chives
Instructions
- In a food processor, blend the egg white, garlic, ginger, sesame oil and coriander.
- Add the minced pork, then season with salt and pepper. Form small (2-3cm ) balls and cook them in plenty of hot oil in a wok or deep pan until golden.
- Drain them on paper towels.
- Serve warm or at room temperature with chopped herbs scattered on top.
Tips
