Balsamic baked Brussels sprouts
Background
Brussels sprouts play an important part in the British Christmas menu despite not being the most popular side-dish. However, you can easily jazz them up with dressingsΒ & sauces or by combining them with other elements These balsamic baked Brussels sprouts can be roasted Β in the oven while the turkey, goose or duck is cooking. You can add some garlic cloves to the recipe if preferred.
Ingredients
- 2 red onion
- 2 cups Brussels sprouts, cleaned
- 2 Tbsp Balsamic vinegar
- 1 pack tomatoes on the wine
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180Β°C.
- Cut the onion into thin wedges.
- Clean the sprouts, then scatter them into a roasting dish. Tuck the tomatoes and onion wedges between them.
- Season to taste, then scatter the marjoram over it.
- Drizzle with oil and balsamic vinegar.
- Bake for about 20 minutes until the veggies are tender.
- Serve warm.
