Balsamic baked carrots
Background
These balsamic glazed carrots go really well with most roast dishes. Use the other shelf in the oven when you're roasting a joint, or bake the carrots whilst your meat is resting. If you donβt have any honey, use brown sugar or maple syrup instead! It takesΒ about 10-20 minutes for them to cook through, depending on the size -Β baby carrots are best for this recipe.
Ingredients
- 250g carrots (preferably baby)
- 1 tbs honey
- 1 knob of butter
- 2 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Arrange the carrots on a baking sheet.
- Crumble the butter all over, then season with salt and pepper. Drizzle with the balsamic vinegar, coating all of them well.
- Bake at in a preheated oven, at 180°C for 20 minutes or so until the carrots are tender and golden.
Tips
If you donβt have baby carrots, cut normal carrots into thin strips!Categories
