Chinese-style pork ribs

Background
These Chinese-style pork ribs are super easy to prepare and are then slowly cooked in the oven. Perfect for parties and celebrations - such as during Chinese New Year. They can be served warm or cold.
Ingredients
- 1 kg pork ribs
- 4 Tbsp Chinese soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp grated ginger
- 1 Tbsp Chinese five-spice powder
- 5 Tbsp runny honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 150°C.
- Mix the soy sauce with the spice blend, honey and ginger.
- Put the rib in a roasting dish then season them with salt and pepper.
- Pour over the marinade and massage it into the ribs.
- Lay them next to each other in the tray. Cover the tray with foil.
- Bake in the middle of the oven for 90 minutes.
- Remove the foil, turn up the oven to 200°C. Cook for a further 15-20 minutes, turning them over once or twice, until the ribs are sticky on all sides.
Tips
You can finish of the cooking on the BBQ if you like to give the ribs a more smoky taste!© 2024 Copyright CookTogether
