Background
Lassi is a traditional yogurt-based drink popular all over the Indian subcontinent. It is a mixture of yogurt, water, spices and sometimes fruit. This Mango lassi is a delicious blend of mangoes and yogurt with a touch of cardamom. Creamy and refreshing, this is made with ripe and fresh mangoes.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe mangoes
- 2 cups natural yogurt
- 20 ice cubes
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup water
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
Instructions
- Remove the skin and cores of the mangoes and add the flesh to a blender.
- Add all the other ingredients except ice cubes and blend smooth.
- Put ice cubes in a glass jar and pour the blended lassi in the jar.
- Serve chill and enjoy.
