Background
This marinated minute steak gives an otherwise quite ordinary cut of meat a rich and interesting flavour. And, if you have time, marinating it in the fridge for a bit longer does seem to help tenderise the steak.
Ingredients
- 500g minute steaks
- For the marinade:
- 50 ml olive oil
- 50 ml balsamic vinegar
- 50 ml soy sauce
- 50 ml Worcester sauce
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Stir together the marinade ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Put the steaks into a large freezer bag with the marinade, tie the top and massage the mixture into the meat.
- Put in the fridge for a couple of hours.
- Heat a griddle pan , frying pan or the BBQ. Cook the steaks for a minute or so on each side.
- Serve with french fries and/or veggies or in a sandwich with some salad.
