Background

This marinated minute steak gives an otherwise quite ordinary cut of meat a rich and interesting flavour. And, if you have time, marinating it in the fridge for a bit longer does seem to help tenderise the steak.

Ingredients

500g minute steaks
For the marinade:
50 ml olive oil
50 ml balsamic vinegar
50 ml soy sauce
50 ml Worcester sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

Stir together the marinade ingredients in a mixing bowl.
Put the steaks into a large freezer bag with the marinade, tie the top and massage the mixture into the meat.
Put in the fridge for a couple of hours.
Heat a griddle pan , frying pan or the BBQ. Cook the steaks for a minute or so on each side.
Serve with french fries and/or veggies or in a sandwich with some salad.
