Pheasant thighs in mustard sauce

Background
If you have guests coming around for dinner but you don't want to spend hours in the kitchen cooking something spectacular - then take a note of this recipe! It's incredibly quick and easy to prepare andΒ cookΒ butΒ the result is just ab-fab! The perfect dish for impromptu winter festivities!
Ingredients
- 8 pheasant thigh fillets
- 50g soft butter
- 4 Tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 Tbsp soft brown sugar
- 1 tsp paprika
- 2 Tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Mix the butter, mustard, sugar, lemon juice and paprika.
- Place the thighs in a baking tray then rub each with the mustard-butter. Season to taste. Bake for 15 minutes, turn them over and baste with the juices.
- Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and cook for another 15 minutes.
- Serve with mashed or sautéed potatoes.
