Background
It's really so easy to make healthy ice lollies for kids! This plum and peach ice Β lolly is not only yummy but looks gorgeous - Β and it is dairy-free and sugar-free too. A perfect treat during the summer!
Ingredients
- 300g plum
- 300g peach
- honey
Instructions
- Peel the peaches, remove the stones, then coarsely chop the flesh.
- Put these into a saucepan then add 1-3 tablespoon of honey and 100 ml water.
- Bring to the boil then simmer for 5 minutes. Blend until smooth, leave to cool.
- Do the same with the plums, but it's not necessary to remove the skins.
- When both purΓ©es are cooled, taste them and add more honey if needed.
- Fill the ice lolly moulds by layering the purΓ©es (first the plum then the peach). Insert the sticks into the center.
- Freeze for at least 4-6 hours until solid.
Tips
If you or your kids don't like bits in the lollies just press the fruit purΓ©es through a sieve before pouring them into the moulds.© 2024 Copyright CookTogether
