Background
Fish is my favourite kind of seafood. I can eat it anytime, cooked in anyway. This is my mom's recipe which is a favourite in our family.Β Fish is cooked in many ways in India. This is just one ofΒ theΒ many ways it can be done.
Ingredients
- 6 Fish steaks
- 2 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp turmeric
- Salt as required
- 2 tsp Chilli powder
- 2 Onions chopped
- 1 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 Green chilli
- Oil as required
- Sprig of coriander leaves
Instructions
- Marinate the fish in ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt and red chilli for an hour.
- In separate pan, heat oil for frying onion and fry until brown.
- Add ginger garlic and green chilli and fry until the raw smell of ginger garlic paste is gone. Keep it aside.
- In a pan, add the oil for frying fish. Fry it until both sides are brown.
- Add the fried onions to the fish and fry for a minute.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
