Background

Fish is my favourite kind of seafood. I can eat it anytime, cooked in anyway. This is my mom's recipe which is a favourite in our family. Fish is cooked in many ways in India. This is just one of the many ways it can be done.

Ingredients

6 Fish steaks
2 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric
Salt as required
2 tsp Chilli powder
2 Onions chopped
1 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
1 Green chilli
Oil as required
Sprig of coriander leaves

Instructions

Marinate the fish in ginger garlic paste, turmeric, salt and red chilli for an hour.
In separate pan, heat oil for frying onion and fry until brown.
Add ginger garlic and green chilli and fry until the raw smell of ginger garlic paste is gone. Keep it aside.
In a pan, add the oil for frying fish. Fry it until both sides are brown.
Add the fried onions to the fish and fry for a minute.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
