Background

Soya bean curry is a simple and easy preparation. The dish is on healthy side and is high on protein. This is a perfect side with rice or roti. The dish is very popular among vegetarians.

Ingredients

250 gms soya bean
1 onion chopped
3 green chillies
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
A pinch turmeric powder
½ tsp coriander powder
¼ tsp cumin powder
1 Tbsp oil
Salt to taste

Instructions

Soak soya beans overnight and pressure cook them in cooker by adding enough water till 5 whistles.
Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Fry till translucent.
Add sliced green chillies, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric and salt. Fry for 3 minutes.
Add cooked soya bean and fry till the water evaporates.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
