Background
Soya bean curry is a simple and easy preparation. The dish is on healthy side and is high on protein. This is a perfect side with rice or roti. The dish is very popular among vegetarians.
Ingredients
- 250 gms soya bean
- 1 onion chopped
- 3 green chillies
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- A pinch turmeric powder
- ½ tsp coriander powder
- ¼ tsp cumin powder
- 1 Tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Soak soya beans overnight and pressure cook them in cooker by adding enough water till 5 whistles.
- Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Fry till translucent.
- Add sliced green chillies, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric and salt. Fry for 3 minutes.
- Add cooked soya bean and fry till the water evaporates.
- Serve hot with rice or roti.
