Background
Spicy and tangy macaroni is a delicious dish made with vegetables and sauces. You may adjust the spices according to your taste. This tasty recipe is suitable for school lunch for your children.
Ingredients
- 250 gm macaroni
- Β½ cup carrot finely chopped
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 1 small capsicum thinly sliced
- 1 green chilly chopped
- 3 garlic pods chopped
- ΒΌ cup chopped spring onions
- 2 Tbsp. tomato sauce
- Β½ cup tomato purΓ©e
- 2 tsp oil
- Β½ tsp red chilli sauce
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Boil the macaroni in 4 cups of water by adding little salt and oil.
- Keep stirring until they are soft. Drain the water and keep aside.
- Heat a pan and add oil.
- Add green chillies and chopped garlic, sautΓ© for a minute.
- Add chopped onions, carrot, and capsicum. Mix well.
- Add salt and cook under low flame for till soft.
- Add boiled macaroni, red chilli sauce, and tomato sauce.
- Toss quickly and cook for 3 minutes.
- Finally add green spring onions and serve.
