The great advantage of chicken is that it easily takes on the flavours of marinades so you can make fantastically tasty meals with little effort. The recipe of these Asian-style BBQ drumsticks is straightforward - perfect for BBQ parties or lazy weekends. In the winter you can bake theme in the oven too.
Ingredients
- 12 chicken drumsticks

- 2 Tbsp finely chopped shallots
- 2 Tbsp Thai fish sauce
- 2 Tbsp cane sugar
- 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
- Β½ tsp turmeric powder
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Clean and set aside the chicken.
- Mix the rest of the ingredients in a bowl.
- Put the chicken legs into a freezer bag, then pour over the marinade. Tie the handles, then shake the bag a bit and massage the drumsticks until well coated in the marinade.
