Baked Camembert with cranberry sauce
Background
I love baked Camembert during the winter festive season - it’s the perfect dish to share and easier to make then fondü. This time I made Baked Camembert with cranberry sauce for a New Year’s Eve party using up the Cranberry sauce with port I made for Xmas. You can use any cranberry sauce, just mix it with some port. Serve it with tortilla chips, bread sticks, oatcakes, crostini etc.
Ingredients
- 4 mini or 1 whole camembert
- 4 Tbsp cranberry sauce
- 1 Tbsp port
- 1 Tbsp maple syrup or honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C. Remove the wax paper and return the cheese to the box.
- Unwrap the cheese and put them in the middle of a large baking sheet.
- Mix the cranberry sauce with port then spoon it on top the cheese.
- Drizzle with some maple syrup then bake for 10 minutes until the cheese starts melting.
