Background

I love baked Camembert during the winter festive season - it’s the perfect dish to share and easier to make then fondü. This time I made Baked Camembert with cranberry sauce for a New Year’s Eve party using up the Cranberry sauce with port I made for Xmas. You can use any cranberry sauce, just mix it with some port. Serve it with tortilla chips, bread sticks, oatcakes, crostini etc.

Ingredients

4 mini or 1 whole camembert
4 Tbsp cranberry sauce
1 Tbsp port
1 Tbsp maple syrup or honey

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Remove the wax paper and return the cheese to the box.
Unwrap the cheese and put them in the middle of a large baking sheet.
Mix the cranberry sauce with port then spoon it on top the cheese.
Drizzle with some maple syrup then bake for 10 minutes until the cheese starts melting.
